in Thiruviruththam (pasuram 83) to his disciple Nanjeeyar.

In this pasuram, Nammazhvar as Parankusa Nayaki hears the sound of the Anril birds and faints. Seeing that, her mother wonders when her daughter would have her wish fulfilled and be happy again.

Nanjeeyar asked Bhattar "Is there any event in Sri Ramayanam that matches to this?"

Bhattar replied "Due to Sri Rama's command, Lakshmana took Sita to the forest and left Her there. In the forest when Valmiki maharishi saw Her crying, it can be said that he attained the same state as that of Parankusa Nayaki's mother".
