Sutra:
100. ivai iraNdAlum paliththathu parathva SaulabyangkaL.
Meaning:
What is gathered from the meanings of the nArAyana term using
the two samAsas? The meaning from the tatpurusha samAsa shows
His paratva quality, while the meaning from the bahuvrIhi
samAsa shows His Saulabhya quality.
Sri PBA Swami's Sarartha Deepikai:
Here the meaning gathered out of the two samAsas is explained.
The tatpurusha samAsa that shows that He is the refuge of all
eternal beings, shows His paratva quality. The quality of
being the most superior of all beings is understood from the
fact that He is the refuge for all beings. The bahuvrIhi
samAsa that shows that He dwells in all beings, shows His
Saulabhya quality. The quality of such a superior being
making Himself easily accessible to all is seen from the fact
that He dwells in everything.
