The nama: term commonly removes the ahankAra and mamakAra's. Therefore as in the nama: term in the middle of the Thirumantra, this nama: here also can remove the obstacles to the soul's true nature, the obstacles to the means and the obstacles to the end. However, as this nama: comes after the prayer for service, it removes the obstacles in performing the service.
