Sutra:
261. unmaththa pravruththikku grAmaprApthi pOlE thyajiththa upAyangaLilE ivai adhvithangaLAmO enRu ninaikka vENdA.

Sri PBA Swami's Sarartha Deepikai:
It is shown that even those acts that are done without the thought that they are the means, will become associated with those acts that are done as the means.

If a person who has lost his mind takes a path that leads to a certain place without knowing where he is going, due to the association between that path and the place, it will still take him there. Similarly, these acts done due to fear about this world will also lead to association with those that are performed as means. Therefore, they are refered to by the word "pApa".
