Features	Known as Thiru Ahindrapuram, as Adiseshan also known as Ahindran prayed to Perumal here. Hayagreevar sannidhi on top of Aushadhagiri near the temple. Garudan presented Viraja water (Garuda nadhi) and Adiseshan presented Padhala Ganga water (Sesha theerththam) to Perumal here. Swami Desikan meditated here and was blessed by Hayagreevar and Garudan. Vedanta Desikan lived 40 years here. His thirumALigai and the well he constructed can be seen till today. Manavala Mamunigal visited this divyadesam and performed mangalashasanam. There is a sannidhi for him in the maada veedhi.
