Thiruppavai pasuram 1: "mathi niRaintha"

This phrase refers to the full moon. Prior to this, the gOpikas were seeking the darkness - for lovers and thieves, it is darkness that is needed. It is thus Andal had sung "naLLirutkaN ennai uyththidumin" in Nacchiyar Thirumozhi. There Andal had mentioned Sri Nandagopar's doorstep ("nandagOpan kadaiththalai").

Bhattar recalls that here and explains what is happening in Sri Nandagopar's doorstep: "bhishakkukkaL vAsal Arththar kattaNamAyk kidakkumApOlE, srinandagOpar vAsal krushNanAlE puNpatta peNgaL kattaNamAyk kidakkumAyk koLLIr".

That is, just as people who are badly hurt physically are brought in stretchers and placed at the doorstep of the doctor's office, so too gOpikas whose hearts are affected by Sri Krishna are brought in stretchers and placed at the doorstep of Sri Nandagopar (and a whole lot of these girls are thus lying at the doorstep).
