Nanjeeyar asked the following to Bhattar: "Thinking of the Lord, both Azhvar's body ('udal urugi' - Periyazhvar Thirumozhi 5-4-4) and mind ('ninai thoRum sollum thoRum nenjchu idindhugum' - Thiruvaymozhi 9-6-2) melt completely. And the soul is atomic in size. Then how did Periyazhvar manage to gather the Lord in his mind ('maduththunnai niRaiththuk koNdEn' - Periyazhvar Thirumozhi 5-4-4)?"

Bhattar replied "Periyazhvar has said 'vittuchiththan manaththE kOvil koNda kOvalanai' (Periyazhvar Thirumozhi 5-4-10). Therefore, everywhere that the nectar that is the Lord is present, Periyazhvar's heart will also be present there (as the holder of that nectar)".
