Nanjeeyar asked Bhattar the following question.

"In Bhagavad Gita, when teaching about the Bhakti yoga, Krishna first warns Arjuna that He is going to tell him something very secret and then tells him about it ('idam tu tE guhyatamam pravakshyAmi'). But when He teaches him the prapatti yoga, He first tells him about it and later warns him not to reveal to one who is not worthy ('idam tE nAtapaskAya'). Why did He not warn Arjuna first about the prapatti yoga before revealing it, like He did for bhakti yoga?"

Bhattar replied "Draupadi, who was dear to Him, had spread her hair and made a vow. So, Krishna, without knowing what to do, put Arjuna in the front - like putting the broom in the middle of the house from its spot in the corner - and started the war. When Arjuna hesitated, He revealed the most important secret which is prapatti yoga. After He did that, realizing the greatness of its meaning and the fact that He had distributed a great thing in front of one and all, He told Arjuna to guard it".
