Meaning:
he anagha - O blemishless Lord! janmabhi: - With the divine avataras, nAnAvidhai: - that are of many type, akapaTai: - that are truthful, ajahatsvabhAvai: - that do not give up Your nature, aprAkR^itai: - that are not made of this world, siddhai: - that are made nija vihAravashena - by Your act, AtmIya rakshaNa - to protect Your devotees and vinAshana arthai: - to destroy vipaksha - the enemies, samsthApayasi - You well establish Adya dharmam - the timeless sanatana dharma.
Vyakhyana Saram:
In the previous shloka, Swami Desikan spoke of His protecting
the samsaris. In this shloka, he talks about that protection
that He gives during His avataras. The meaning of the Gita
shloka "paritrANAya sAdhUnAm" is the second part of this
shloka.
