vAri surukki - Reducing the harmones of madham kaLiRu aindhinaiyum - the five senses that are like five uncontrollable elephants sEri thiriyAmal semniRIi - and steadying them from wandering in the sensual targets, uNarvAr - those who understand Him kUriya may njAnaththAl - with the sharp true knowledge that comes from bhakti, kANbar - will see and enjoy kazhal - the divine feet of Him, who mEl oru nAL - once upon a time kai nAgam kAththAn - protected the trunked elephant Gajendra.
