Meaning:
thOLAn - The Lord with the divine shoulders sAya - killed kani - the asura in the form of a fruitful tree eRindha - and threw (killed) kanRu - the asura in the form of a calf. am nAval sUzh nAdu - The beings in the beautiful country known as jambUdvIpa nangu aRindha - have understood well kaNbadhaRku - the way to see (always) kanai kazhalE - His divine feet that is decked with jewels that sound. ini - From now on yAr puguvAr - who will enter ezhu naraga vAsal - the seven doors of Naraga? muniyAdhu - (O! yama kinkaras) without getting angry with me mUri thAL kOmin - put strong locks on (on those doors).
